While Hamm’s is no longer an independent brewing company, it is still sold in select markets under the Hamm’s brand and label. The beer is brewed and sold by MillerCoors of Chicago, Illinois. Several beers are produced: Hamm’s Premium, the original pale lager; Hamm’s Golden Draft; and Hamm’s Special Light.
Arcadia is truly the land of “sky-blue waters.” In fact, early Hamm’s Beer commercials were filmed here.
Hamm’s production was moved to Milwaukee, and the St. Paul facility produced Stroh’s until 1997, when it was closed for good. In 1999, Pabst transferred the Hamm’s trademark to Miller, who has continued to market the beer through the 2010s.

Is Hamm’s & Pabst The Same Beer ? Well here it is, the article to end all articles… is Hamm’s and Pabst the same exact beer ? So to start off, if people don’t know already, Pabst and Hamm’s (Miller Brewing Company aka Molsoncoors (stupid new name by the way cuz really who the hell drinks Molson?) are separate companies.
While it’s not nearly as good as my first impression led me to believe, for the price, Hamm’s is a damn good Passable Beer . I give it my highest recommendation.
Under the agreement, Pabst will gradually transfer from 2021 until 2024 its production from MillerCoors to City Brewing. In 1996 Pabst , once one of the largest breweries in the United States closed down its production in Milwaukee after 152 years.

In 1999, the Pabst Brewing Company began transferring its production to Miller Brewing , on a contract basis, and closing all of its breweries. Pearl beer is still in production at Miller’s Fort Worth, Texas, facility, but the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio was closed in 2001.
